We are Valentina and Christian. It all started with the desire to live surrounded by greenery and away from the city chaos. After much research, in spring 2010 we finally found our paradise: an abandoned hamlet which dates back to the 1700s. Lying on the edge of a valley, nestled among the rolling hills of Mugello, the main house called “Casaccia”, was surrounded by a barn, a cottage and a pigsty.

We fell madly in love: the perfect combination between location and landscape, an authentic example of rural Tuscan architecture, the possibility to pursue a philosophy based on eco-sustainability, love and respect for nature was a fatal attraction. It was the ideal location to create a luxurious holiday farm (agriturismo) in Tuscany.

We immediately started renovation work, enhancing what was left of the old estate, we followed each step of the process in first person. We carefully selected all materials and objects ourselves, favoring local artisans and companies that share our same philosophy. We allowed our inspiration to guide us in creating a comfortable and homely place in which our guests can indulge their senses.
